The programme covers return filing timelines, input tax credit documentation, e-invoicing thresholds and the correct handling of departmental notices. The chapter has said that a large share of penalties on small traders arise from procedural errors rather than intent, and that trained district volunteers will now be available to help members respond to notices within the statutory window.
